We’re so proud to announce that the Denver Mile High Chapter contributed $194,950 to our RMEF mission for 2014, making our Denver Chapter total contributions since conception of $2,065,300! This ranks us as #4 in the entire country!  As a whole, our great State of Colorado raised $1.47M, #2 in the country, second only to Wyoming.  Thank you so much for your continued support!

Volunteer members are the backbone of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.  Hailing from every state, volunteer members dedicate thousands of hours to:

  • Raise money in order for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation to fulfill its mission
  • Spend countless hours on “get your fingernails dirty” projects like pulling weeds, removing hazardous fences and other structures, clearing out dead timber to promote new forest growth, and installing water guzzlers, working side-by-side with our partners – the U.S. Forest Service and Colorado Parks and Wildlife organizations
  • In 2017, the Denver Mile High Chapter celebrates our 20th year and have developed into one of the top fundraising chapters in the country.
  • Please see the attached for an updated “A Message From Our Chairman“.

In 2017, the Denver Mile High Chapter celebrates our 20th year and have developed into one of the top fundraising chapters in the country.  How have we done this?  It starts with a group of dedicated, passionate Chapter members with a clear focus and team / mission-first culture.  Then add amazingly strong support from our donors, sponsors, and the Denver area community.  The results: well over $2,000,000 raised to enhance and conserve elk and other wildlife habitat.

As with our fellow chapters across the country, fundraising cannot be our only contribution to the mission.  We are very proud of our increasing involvement in conservation and education projects across the great State of Colorado.  In the future we look forward to making “get your fingernails dirty” projects as well as the educational projects a larger part of our focus.

Although our name is the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, we work throughout Colorado to conserve, restore and enhance natural habitats, support conservation education, and promote the sound management of wild free ranging elk.  So far we have conserved or enhanced 409,000 acres and helped with 608 conservation projects right here in Colorado!  The 5 Star Charity Navigator gives us a 4 star rating (out of 4 stars) click HERE to see more!

The challenge is real, we are losing habitat at a rate of thousands of acres daily.  Once that land is gone, it is gone forever.  We need you, bird lovers, wildlife watchers, habitat conservationists and every hunter out there to assist us in saving habitat and the wildlife that use it.  Donate to our chapter with either a cash donation or merchandise that we will use in a silent or live auction and we would love it if you would attend our fundraising banquet.

We are excited about this year’s fundraising event to be held on March 11, 2017 at the beautiful Westin in Westminster, Colorado.  Our chapter’s goal is to host a very high quality and exciting banquet event for our guests, filling the venue with merchandise that catches your eye and promotes spirited bidding!  When we accomplish that; we can easily contribute to the RMEF’s mission “To insure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage.”

My name is Brady White and I am the chapter chairperson.  I have been an active member of this chapter for the past six years.  I am a Life Member and am committed to you, our guests and donors.    If I can answer any questions or assist you in any way, please feel free to contact me at .
