4:30 pm: Doors open, check-in begins, greeters go to work, and all raffles selling

5:40 pm: Check in should be finished.  Chairman, Auctioneer, and Emcee take the stage for opening comments

  • Gun rack drawing takes place every 50 tickets sold

6:00 pm: National Anthem

6:05 pm: Invocation

6:15 pm: Dinner is served.  Drawing corporate table sponsors

6:30 pm: Start drawings when sold-out/closed – Card, Medallion, Mug, CRED, Cash, Gun/Pistol Case raffles

6:55 pm: Pick of the Herd drawing

7:00 pm: Live auction begins

7:30 pm: Package 1 – 25 of the silent Auction closes.  Youth Program ends

8:00 pm: Package 26 – 50 of the Silent Auction closes.  Youth drawing for firearm and bow

8:15 pm: General raffle closes and we start pulling raffle winners. Announce General Bonus Raffle winners.

Packages 51 – xx of the Silent Auction Closes

9:00 pm: Redraw for any guns not claimed at Gun Board

10:00 pm: Live auction is finished

Our Emcee for the banquet will be Scott Whatley from the 560AM KLZ radio show Sportsman of Colorado! Scott and his co-host, Red Merrell, will also be featuring a weekly interview about the RMEF each Saturday during the show which airs from 1:00-2:00pm! So tune in and learn more about the great outdoors, the RMEF, and more banquet details.


In addition, we’re really excited to have an Electronic Bidding System this year for our Silent Auction. All you need is your smartphone with text messaging and Internet access (a data plan). There’s no app to download. To participate, you need to contact Pam at (303) 913-0363 or PamRMEFDenver@gmail.com.  Once registered, you’ll get a text message assigning you a bidder’s number and you’re all set.  When the bidding starts, you’ll continue to get updates on the items you’re interested in.  You’ll be able to enter bid amounts, set bid increments and maximums, look for items that don’t have any bids yet, and get notices when you’ve either been outbid or when you’re the item winner. It’s fun and it’s easy! This way you can relax and enjoy your meal, visit with your friends, or participate in other raffle activities without having to run back and forth checking the old paper bid sheets. Don’t have a smartphone? No problem at all – we’ll have Bid Assistants throughout the venue who can help you place bids.
