Mason Proffit's 1st elk, a cow, downed with 1 shot from a .270 at about 120 yards. Taken on December 26th, the day before his 13th birthday. (He got his 1st deer on December 28, 2003, the day after his 12th birthday). The photo was taken by his very proud dad!
