Lake City area BLM enhancement

The foundation helped remove six miles of barbed wire fencing and mprove another 2.5 miles of existing fence to reduce wildlife injuries o Bureau of Land Management land 14 miles north of Lake City. As many as 200 elk and 75 deer use the area during winter and spring. The land lies along U.S. Highway 149 and border the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River.
